This feline has a slim body and long legs, the coat is sprinkle with large black spots on brown or orange background .
The Serval female gestation is of 70 days and can give birth to two kittens maximum for time, eat locuste and rats, very rarely attack the cattle, for this reason is considered a useful animal to agriculture.
The main threat for this feline is the man who hunting them for the fur, for this reason they are extinct in all the south west of African continent.
Some Africans tribes have held serval in captivity as pet, is one of the little felines who have adapted to this style of life.
